Senior Product Manager

UpTeam is a consulting development company with HQ in Silicon Valley and a product development center in Montenegro, Romania, and Germany.

We are working on a number of interesting B2C and B2B products for US and global markets.

The project Our customer is a publicly-traded American telecommunications company founded in 1986 with more than 8000 employees around the globe. The company is the second-largest television station operator in the United States by the number of stations, owning or operating a total of 193 stations across the country in over 100 markets.

For this customer, we are developing a SAAS platform for promoting, monitoring, and analytics of advertising in digital channels.
Our team is developing and supporting 7 products within the platform.

We are searching for the Senior Product Manager who will develop the release-ready product and build from the scratch new products for big brands and local advertisers across US, will work with a great dev team, experience proactive and passionate culture, feel freedom, drive and challenge every single minute of work.

Tasks in the position

  • Manage development process of internal products which unite all products for end users and back office to create and manage Ad-Tech ecosystem
  • On one hand the product is designed for end-users and thus should follow highest UX standards, on the other hand product should well integrate with existing part of a complex multi-layer advertising platform.
  • Ensure seamless communication with the client on all levels, participate in validating user stories received from San Francisco team, ensure timely grooming by development team
  • Create and manage product roadmap and development plans
  • Run the acceptance of the developed stories
  • Improve product development process to fit fast pace and highest quality needs of a mature San-Francisco-based Ad tech business
  • Work with a team of product managers to prepare tasks for development team and run sprints, maintain JIRA and up-to date product documentation
  • Explore competitor products and understand industry trends



Requirements

  • 5+ years experience in software industry
  • 2+ years experience in product management, business analysis, and product leadership roles
  • Basic understanding of UI/UX and experience with prototyping tools
  • Understanding of requirement elicitation and functional spec writing (user stories vs jobs-to-be-done)
  • Excellent communication skills (with focus on hearing)
  • Proactive approach on communication with a client and their needs
  • Ability to quickly create MVP plan from zero to MVP
  • Advanced English speaking skills

Nice to have:

  • Software development hands-on experience
  • AdTech experience
  • Practical knowledge of Agile product development methodologies
