Milestone Achieved - Vladimir Celebrates Five Years at UpTeam

Celebrating a significant milestone in one’s career is always a moment of reflection and appreciation. Recently, we had the pleasure of sitting down with our colleague Vladimir, who has just celebrated five years with UpTeam. Over the years, Vladimir has grown both personally and professionally, contributing significantly to our team and culture. Curently, he has the position of Project Manager for one of our clients and runs a team of 6. In this interview, he shares his experiences, insights, and the journey that has shaped his career with us.

🔷 Reflecting on your five years with UpTeam, what are some key moments that contributed to your personal and professional growth?

Joining UpTeam in 2019 was a key moment for me. I am incredibly grateful for the opportunity to grow both personally and professionally. Additionally, I've met many wonderful people here, many of whom have become close friends. These relationships and the team's support have been crucial to my development.

🔷 What do you find most rewarding about your role?

The most rewarding aspect of my role is interacting with people and resolving diverse, unique problems. I enjoy seeing products from a bird's-eye view, understanding the overall picture, and appreciating the variety of details. This job allows me to feel part of something large and significant.

🔷 How do you manage your work-life balance, especially during busy periods?

Some days are busier, and some are less so. I rest on the less busy days and work harder on the busier ones. Overall, thanks to the precise distribution of roles and tasks, I can avoid significant imbalances and maintain a healthy life-style.

🔷 What skills or knowledge have you gained that you didn't have before joining?

Since joining UpTeam, I have significantly improved my planning skills, learned to communicate effectively with stakeholders, present the product and myself, and gained skills in resolving complex situations.

🔷 When you’re not working, what hobbies or activities do you enjoy to unwind and relax?

I enjoy walking my dog, driving, cycling, and watching good movies or TV shows in my free time. These activities help me relax and recharge.

🔷 What advice would you give someone just starting in this field?

Don’t worry if things don’t work out right away. If you have a passion and interest in this field, keep going. Anyone can become a professional in their area with enough time and dedication.
